We have been to this store several times and have always enjoyed the experience. The have out of this world taffy! As a matter of fact we always make sure to plan on visiting when we are in the area.

Employee followed us around the shop and when we left without purchasing the employee followed us out of the store and demanded my Asian friend empty her pockets. We had not even touched the merchandise, just taken photos with some of the figurines. He claimed he had an “active security team” that watched her steal; who would pay to staff a security team in an empty, tired gift shop? He did not ask to check my (white) pockets. Felt very targeted that he went after her and not me. Ironic for a store full of Chinese and Japanese gifts to racially target an Asian customer.
