I would STRONGLY recommend NOT buying from Utah Car & Truck on Bluff Street in Saint George. We have had the worst experience ever with them and in our opinion, they are as corrupt as they come. We purchased a Honda Accord for our 16 year old daughter. The very next day, the transmission went out. We took it to two dealerships that both confirmed the transmission was toast. One location said it appeared that the wrong fluid had been added to the transmission. We were told it would be over $5,000 to replace the transmission on a car that we just bought for $7,900. We immediately contacted Utah Car & Truck. Cody Gentry’s final response to us was “Whatever happened after you owned the vehicle is your problem, not mine”. This happened literally the day after purchase. We understand this is a used car dealership, but for a transmission to blow up the very next day is extremely shady. We are trying to warn anybody that is considering purchasing a vehicle from Utah Car & Truck about our costly experience. Please pay attention to all of the negative reviews and to how often their response is ”things happen”.

Shady business. Everything started off great, friendly and professional. I paid $12,450 for a 2013 Toyota Corolla and I was very excited. The test drive seemed fine and the car fax looked good. I drove off the lot back home a few hours away, check engine light comes on. I took it into a mechanic the next day and the transmission is completely bad, around 4K to fix and I am unable to drive the car. My mechanic said the dealership would have known the transmission was bad based on the fact the dealership said they had the car looked at. I did reach out in an understanding manner but they provided no resolution, just the cop out response that they weren’t liable. I understand I choose to buy the car, but selling a lemon car is shady business. Would 100% recommend staying away from this business and mainly made this review to warn people.
